Help with V.W.Golf Carburetor Conversion Kit

My father would like to know if there is a conversion kit available to convert a V.W Golf carburetor, Type 2E3 from Auto to Manual?

VW 1990 1.3 Litre or 12.72cc

If so, where can one be bought whether online or otherwise.

sure is.
Get rid of the Pierburg carb and get a Webber.
Have a look in the classifieds on clubgti.com or edition38 and you should find a decent second hand one.

It's usually the waxstat on the pierburg that causes the problems, so may be worth changing that first
