Hi, any advice on how to get Henry's tubes apart please? Haven't used it in shorter version for a month or so , hut been using it as a reg vacuum where we've been DIY ing ( have an upright for regular cleaning) and seemingly with the pressure of pushing across the carpets they've got well and truly stuck.
Thanks

Leave some WD40 to soak in, then try anything to add grip to the tubes! Wear rubber gloves, or put a load of elastic bands around them. If possible clamp one side (could use wide jaw grips) and start twisting?

Hold the handle piece, and knock the other piece a glancing blow, longitudinally, with an object such as a hammer handle with rubber grip.

Knock it at the end furthest from the joint and slowly rotate it, knocking all the way round.

Thank you!
My OH managed to do it. I'd sprayed some WD40 on and put about 10 elastic bands round it, but my old thumbs don't have the grip they used to have.
He put the tubing vertically with the angled bit between his feet and combination of jiggling and twisting managed to get it off.
Note to self - Get into the habit of taking it off after each use. :)
