HepVo Question

Bath and shower are now higher than the old fittings to ensure correct fall so the crud factor shouldn't be a problem now. I guess I'll just have to try it and see.

another point to remember or take into account- a HepVO valve/trap should not be used as a non return valve (to stop your bath water backing up into your shower)!!! It is to be used INSTEAD of a normal trap, not with another tap on the same pipe!

Also, if your bath/shower waste pipes are laid to the correct falls then there should not be a problem with the water draining away. As you have replaced the dirty/crud pipes with new ones they should be fine now.

If you do run 2 pipes into 1 as you have, then you CAN use anti-siphon traps to stop induced siphonage if this is a problem.
