Madrab foretold this, and possibly its a regular noob mistake..

So I've picked up a 40mm hepvo and knuckle adaptor to make up a low profile sink waste. I'd already stuck a tape on the sink plug threads and measured 40mm. Great, that should be a fit then...

Having since educated myself that a 40mm o/d threaded waste is actually a 32, I'm looking for options:

I could return the 40mm hepvo and 40mm knuckle for a 32 of each, connect the sink to the knuckle to the hepvo, then work out a way to get the 32mm hepvo up to 40mm for the waste pipe after the hepvo
I could see if there is something that would allow me to keep the 40mm kit and increase the sink waste diameter to 40mm

Of the two I prefer the latter because a 32mm hepvo knuckle is 6 quid whereas a 40mm one is 60p, and ive a fair few to install so that would soon add up... But does such a thing exist?

If I've read your post right then this should sort you. 32mm off sink waste to 40mm, your knuckle adaptor then your HepVo
