From my understanding as follows:

city guilds 2330
am2
nvq3
17 edition
inspecting test
cscs-ecs

thats the full route however a lot only do cg 2330 level 2 - 17th- testing- then do part p with nicec etc

ive been told not to bother with the 2330 as its more suited to an apprentice.

ive been looking at doing the 17th edition/part p course then my 2391?

worth it or not????

yeah 2330 is a long haul 3 years part time to complete - however to class yourself as a fully qualifed electrician this is the route but you can get by with what you said ie 17th & part p. Im coming to end of year two and still believe the long route is the best route however thats just my opinion.
