Hello all
I Hope you are Well.
I have Two Speakers, Surround Left and Surround Right for which I am trying to find the best way to hide the Speaker Wire.
I have routed the Speaker Wire around the Floor to each Speaker and have the Speaker Wire coming up from under the Carpet to the Speakers.
I was planning on using D-Line Micro Trunking, down from the Speaker and then along the Skirting to the Corner, but, I unfortunately discovered that the Speaker Wire would not turn through 90 Degrees in the 90 Degree D-Line piece.
So, that idea is a no go.
I am pondering another idea, use a Straight run of D-Line Micro Trunking down from the Speaker to the Skirting and then Cut a Slot in the Skirting to allow the Speaker Wire to fit and then use Wood Filler to Fill the Slot.
Do you think this idea would work?
If so, what would be the easiest way to Cut a Slot in the Skirting Board?
I did think of Chasing the Speaker Wires into the Wall, but the Wall on the other side of the Room is a Soundproofed Wall so Chasing in to it is not something I want to do and it would look odd if one was Chased whilst the other was not.
Thanks in advance
Kevin
