Hi,
We have just had a new boiler installed in our kitchen, which is much smaller than the old one. This has now left a lot of pipework exposed.

What would be the best way to cover these pipes up, I have seen that some people have built a cupboard around the boiler, but given it is a combi what would the laws be for doing this.

I was hoping that I would be able to cover the pipe work up, and have seen some pre made boxes that can do this. The dimensions that need to cover are 45 X 50 X 10cm. I have also attached some photos to give an idea. But I would like to have easy access to controls under boiler for future needs

At this moment I would be very welcomed to ideas and advice from anyone.

Thank you for your help

You can box your pipe work in as you wish bearing in mind the possibility of future access requirements.
As for boxing/putting the boiler in a cupbord minimum clearances are given in the boiler installation manual.

Some plumber that was - he obviously never used any form of thermal shield whilst soldering joints. If he was Gas-Safe, he certainly wasn't "Fire-Safe"
