Fit it behind the TV (if it fits), or, put it on a shelf/unit somewhere nearby, and chase the TV cables to the Sky box.

For a real pro job get some HDMI wall plates and install an HDMI socket behind the TV, plus one wherever you locate your Sky box, but put two HDMI cables in... so you can hook up your playstation or whatever too.

Yeah you would have to re wallpaper but looking at the pic it doesn't look too big if a job.

Best way to chase is geta Stanley knife and a straight edge like a spirit level and cut a nice straight channel to where you Want the cables and chesel all the plaster and browning away put and clip the cables in place soak the channel with watered down PVA glue then fill the channel with new browning and when dry scrap it back a few mill and score it like criss cross lines and fill it with prolly filler.l

Sand it smooth and jobs a good one.

Hire a core drill and extension and drill through the side of the fire breast. I would use a 2"/ 40mm one. Cut a neat washer out of white plastic and glue it on the paper to hide the edges of the hole.
