Hi Chaps

In my ensuite we have a standard toilet, along the same wall as the hand basin. I want to create a 'bench' across the back wall, to sit a free standing basin on. This would mean that the top of the cistern (and importantly the flush button) would be covered over. My thought was that i could create a hidden cistern, putting the flush button either in the top of the new 'bench' or in the front of the false wall.

i dont have any pics but the attached pic essentially shows the exisitng layout.

1, is this possible?
2, would i need to replace the whole toilet or can i get away with just the cistern?
3, any advice greatly received!!

Thanks

Guy
