I have been asked to replace an old, slim, plastic wc cistern with a swan neck flush pipe on a toilet that is cemented onto a soil pipe in the ground. I measured the distance from the back of the toilet to the wall and it is 4".

Will this be a problem when trying to put the new flush pipe in (even with a swan neck flush pipe) and could it be done with both high or low level cisterns?
