High Court Rules...

If you're voicing support for a proscribed terrorist group then no, you shouldn't be allowed on here as you would be in breach of section 12 Terrorism Act 2000.

But I'm not, am I.

Nothing here voicing support for any proscribed terrorist group.

But it's OK to call for mass deportation of British subjects to some unknown destination, or propose murdering them on arrival, or support violent racist protests, or to voice support for Israel in its policy of Genocide, or to voice support for fake news perpetrators in calling for serious violence, on here?

Chief Justice Sue Carr: under the law proscription would “not prevent public expressions of support for the Palestinian cause or opposition to Israel and to the Israel Defense Forces, or demonstrations targeted at Elbit”.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood: “There is a difference between supporting Palestine and supporting a proscribed terrorist group."

But you do have an avatar that is more provocative than others on here.

Using a Palestinian flag as an avatar on social media is legal in the UK, but context matters. Since the UK formally recognizes the State of Palestine, displaying the flag as a general symbol of solidarity, cultural identity, or political advocacy is perfectly lawful and protected as free expression. [1, 2, 3, 4]
However, displaying the flag can carry implications depending on how and where you use it:

Do you think it is not provocative or inappropriate to use it on a DIY site? This could easily be considered a misuse of it and a provocative action.

should be disallowed here if some people decide it's "provocative"?

How is displaying the flag of Palestine "provocative or inappropriate .. on a DIY site" if displaying the flag of Israel is not?

I have no issues with the Palestinian avatar if used as a statement of support for the Palestinian people. In your case you are very politically driven and use it to drive that home therefore it could be perceived as provocative

If some people here think it's provocative to fly a flag as a symbol of support for anti-immigration, I'm going to fly a flag of support for the Palestinian people.
And it's as much a symbol of support for the Palestinians, as offer of condolences for those killed by Israel, and a symbol against Israel's conduct during this "act of Genocide".

And if I p1ss them off, well a bit of reciprocation is OK, in my book.

So you've never, with no evidence but only unfounded guesses, suggested that displaying the Palestinian flag is expressing support for terrorists?

In your case you are very politically driven

No more than others here.

What about using the Israeli flag as an avatar? Is that politically driven?

You keep trying to point the finger towards filly constantly so once again showing your real reason for displaying that avatar. Nothing to do with actually supporting the Palestinians in general. More to pizz people off. Thanks for the confirmation
