Does anyone no where I can get a high temperature brush on paint for use on a castiron wood burning stove used on our patio, I have tried a spray on version which lasted about two months.

Thanks for any help

It's probably preparation of the surface that's the problem rather than the paint. The surface needs to be chemically clean and I doubt abrading will be enough. What colour do you want? If black is ok, use stove blacking (black leading) It used to be called Zebo, but there's something called Hotspot that's the same. Only problem is it's not waterproof, so will need maintaining.

See this, also I have used a high temperature paint for car manifold from a car accessories shop with no problem but as Oilman said preparation is important
