I am about to tile my kitchen using travatine Mosaic tiles for the first time.
I understand that I need to seal them prior to fixing & after grouting, but would appreciate any tips on fixing to the wall.

I have been told that mosaic's are prone to slipping?

If you use a 4 m/m notched spreader, and use the adhesive in the above link, you will have no problems.
Mix the adhesive to a consistency, such that it stays put, when you lift some out with a large stainless ladle.
Use a piece of softwood, about 250 x 50 x 25 m/m to flatten the tiles back to the wall, and keep them level with each other....

Only mix as much as you will use in one go....
