Hi All.

I applied for a lawful development certificate (proposed) for a loft extension, the gable wall was all brick all the way, however I wanted to know if I can have something like the picture below, does it mean that I need to re-submit a new application ?

Thanks in advance.

I got approval for something like this (well lawfulness)

Can I implement this ?

I built like your first one and Permission was rejected went to planning inspectorate appeal rejected so had to put it as per your second pic for which I would of not needed any permission as it’s permitted development. I posted a great deal on these on one of the forums hip to gable ones I think.

A CLD confirms that the details you submitted are lawful, not something different that the planners have not even had sight of.

The tile-hung version would still be permitted development, but it would not be in accordance with the drawings you submitted for your LDC application. You would need to submit a second application if you want a LDC for the tile-hung version.
