just moved into a new flat and the heaters in the living room make a very loud hissing noise when on. This noise reduces when the hot water is used. any suggestion on how to stop? thanks

If you give us your address we'll send someone round to see what sort of heating system (boiler make, etc.) you have and then post the info here. Of course there will be a charge for that service, but you could avoid the charge by posting the information yourself.
