Hive controller

I have just the item down in the picture, it's a huge I think, what else do I need to connect it to my combi boiler and be able to work it remotely.

There are three parts to a working Hive system. The thermostat (as in your picture), a receiver that connects to your home router and a hub that replaces your existing central heating programmer.

Almost right but the hub connects to the router and the receiver replaces the programmer.
