Installing a hive instead of our Drayton Lifestyle LP711. The receiver has gone in its place however, there is a Drayton scr in place in our house (moved in two montgs ago) and on the lp711 there is no wire into three? - thing it has been bypassed to the SCR. Is there an easy way to do this? Photos attached.

The unused terminal(s) are completely normal, there are very few heating systems which use all of them.
The Hive is a direct replacement for the LP711 and should fit onto the same plate.

The SCR isn't required, but the wires to it must be connected as if the thermostat was permanently on, otherwise your heating will not work.
On yours, this is achieved by adding a link between 1 and 3 on the white plate (or just move the wire from 3 and put it in with the wire in 1).

Ideally the wiring to the SCR would be removed and disconnected at the other end and the appropriate link made there. This may be on the plate for the LP711 although it's difficult to tell from the picture.

All of these alterations must be done with the power off.

So move three to one on the white box - was scr and that should be us...

Can you get a blanking plate for scr?
