Hi

New to this so please bare with me. Please can anyone verify the wiring of a Hive single channel reciever into a Worcester 28cdi combo boiler. I have attached a diagram of the hive connections and also the wiring for the boiler connections. Some say leave terminal 4 on the hive empty others show different and getting confused with all the conflicting info. Thanks in advance

There are two versions of the Hive. The single channel version you have posted a photo of clearly shows terminal 4 is "unused" so don't use it. Terminal 2 won't be used either.

Boiler Ns (Neutral Supply) = Hive N

Boiler Ls (Live Supply) = Hive L

Boiler Lr (Live Return) = Hive 3 (Heating on)

A wire link is required between between Hive terminals L and 1 (Common)

If you have to open up a 'room sealed' part of your boiler to access the wiring terminals with the boiler you have, this is not a DIY job and should be done by a Gas Safe engineer who can make sure that it is properly sealed up again afterwards.
