I have the above on the front of my Greenstar 37cdi Combi boiler. When I connect the hive up as per instruction I can’t get it to switch the boiler on.
I was wondering if there is something additional I need to do to the existing wiring?
It's a while since I worked on one, but I seem to recall that the existing heating controls may need to be set to be permanently 'on' and then Hive will take over.
It that's wrong I'm sure someone will be along with the correct solution.
As it's a combi, the timed hot water function on the panel isn't required.
I believe we have had some success in the past by suggesting the whole receiver unit is unclipped from the front of the boiler and the ribbon cable is disconnected.
The receiver is connected to the boilers EMS bus circuit. Without a bus controller, control may revert back to the boilers on/off switching circuits.
A blanking plate can be ordered to cover the gap in the boiler fascia.
