once again thanks all sorted now after i managed to remove 30 years of paint from the pipes and joined them together
my mrs is as we speak enjoying her first proper shower since we moved house a year ago :0)
she is a happy bunny
the toilet isnt too noisey refiling and its not often we use the upstairs one when the kids are asleep anyway so all is good
