We have found a hole in our roofing felt under concrete tiles. Our house is a
dormer bungalow and the hole is on the top half of the roof with very little pitch. We are wanting to patch the hole.

Can anyone give us advice on how to do this? We were thinking of getting a piece of roofing felt, but are wondering what is the best way to seal it. Someone told us we can use flashing tape instead of the felt? but we do not think this would be suitable.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have holes in mine that are more like the side of a dinner plate, so firstly I wouldnt worry too much as the felt should really only be there to keep the wind from blowing the rain/snow up rather than keeping the falling rain out, which is done by the tiles/flashing/etc.

But as you say, there is no harm in patching it, in places mines been (badly) patched with felt gaffa tape and roofing paint...

We decided to just get a full roll of felt, adhesive and sealer. Very difficult to get just a small piece!!! So just waiting for right weather to get DH up on roof to patch hole.
