I have recently bought a house and started stripping off woodchip wallpaper which is a night mare in itself. anyway the plaster has started coming off in patches especially at the joints where 2 walls meet and between the wall and ceiling in places. In parts the gaps are approx 1 inch wide x 1 inch deep. I have a plasterer coming to give me an estimate but have the feeling he will tell me the whole room needs doing which i cant afford. Has anyone any ideas of what to do? I would say 80% of the walls are fine.
