Honda Accord 2004 rear ABS sensor removal problem

Here you go mate,

http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/4614-diy-rear-hub-bearing-assembly/

A diy I did on removing the rear hub, its a sealed unit so very easy this will give you access from inside and you can tap it out easily.

Though it shouldn't be too hard to remove from outside, the sensor has a o ring and sometimes you get a load of phorus build up inside the hub which can make it a pain to remove.

You'll need to join to see the pics, don't forget to introduce yourself its a great forum :D

I had to change a sensor on a Mitsubishi Shogun last week, a front one, slide in and out they do with a 10mm bolt holding them in, ended up stripping the hub down and belting it with a punch from the disc side, then had to cut the outer casing with a die grinder to get the rest of the housing out lol! nice little 5 min job

Thanks all for the great help. I am leaving the broken bit in there for the moment until a get a new one (hopefully next weekend). Rather that than drive around with a hole in the hub. So next weekend the sucker comes out.

Regards to all.
