hi there, i have a honeywell 3 port valve on my system.
My question is what should happen if both Ch and Hw are on and then the Ch is satisfied leaving demand for Hw.
It would appear on mine that whilst the Hw demand is still called for my radiators get hot.
If i just call for Ch or Hw on there own everything works as it should.
Does this look like i have a fault and need to contact my heating engineer?

Thanks

Brett

My question is what should happen if both Ch and Hw are on and then the Ch is satisfied leaving demand for Hw.
The valve should move to HW only, which is done by the internal spring, there should be no power applied to the valve for HW only.

Thanks for your reply, i will test this out again and get it looked at.

Cheers

Brett
