Honeywell Accenta Mini G4 External Sounder Problem

Hi,
right i have just installed the above alarm with 8 zones all trigged by PIR's. when testing the system all seems to be fine. i can turn the External Sounder on & off as well as the strobe. the problem is when i set the alarm and trigger it, the External Sounder sounds for a few seconds then turns off but the strobe keeps on flashing! i have ran through the basic setting with regards to External Sounder sound time (set to 15min and bell delay set to 0min) and all is set correctly, any ideals????

Is there a test jumper on the sounder? They are usually set at 4 seconds.

i am guessing your on about a little black clip/slector inside the external bell box its self?? i am not to sure off hand but i know there was deffently one in there but i think that was for turning the strobe off?!
thanks for your help tho, i'll have a look tomorrow
