I have a Honeywell evohome system controlling a Vaillant 824 turbo max. After 25 years it's time to say goodbye to the Vaillant and my heating engineer recommended a Worcester 4000 as a replacement. Just wondering if evohome will be compatible with the Worcester. My engineer is not very familiar with evohome so can't advise.

I don't see any reason why not. As long as it has 230v or 24v connections (vast majority, if not all do) then it'll be fine.
