Honeywell Evohome any good?

Hello all.
I was previously looking at the Honeywell Evohome system as a means of zoning the entire house. There is also a controller available for the wet underfloor heating.
I will be replacing the central heating combi boiler with an unvented pressurised system/boiler, so in doing so I will probably get some new fangled boiler controls.
Would there be any point in having the Evohome system unless the new boiler controls are compatible with the system?
Is the Evohome a bit old school now and are there better control schemes available for individual room zoning?

Thanks.

There are shinier controls available, but Evohome still is the best at actual zone control and usability.

With OpenTherm, Evohome, Intergas boiler and Joule cylinder you won't go wrong.

Thanks Dan. Intergas - that's a new one on me - are these better than Worcester & Vaillant?

Intergas HRE 36/40 SB?

What sort of capacity is the norm for a hot water tank for a 4 bed semi?

Thanks.
