Honeywell programmer clicking when HW & CH set to ON

Hi,

I've just moved to a new house and decided to check the operation of the Central Heating. I have found that when I set the programmer ( Honeywell ST7000) to operate both CH & HW at the same time the programmer starts clicking madly. It sounds as though a relay is going mad inside the programmer.

Do you think it is a wiring problem or is it a case of a new programmer.
