Just moved house and looking for how you program a Honeywell ST712 programmer to set heating and hot water at different times the instructions I have don’t say how set them individually

WOW that is an old boy, cant remember for sure but dont think you can set the times for CH and HW differently, sure you can only set once ,twice and on individually using the sliders for each one

That’s what I thought just seems a wast having the hot water on all day, I have Hive ordered hopefully for next week and that will resolve it

do you know what system you have? do you have motorised valves near the pump or near the cylinder ? all depends what you have, the Hive will work but might not give you individual control, all depends on the other controls

It’s has a 3 port valve next to the pump a stat on the hot water cylinder and a stat in the hall it’s valiant eco boiler

Thats fine you have a Y plan system, the hive dual channel will work fine with your set up, the single channel wont
