I have a Hoover Ecologic that shows the following symptom. When turning the dial to D and switching it on, nothing happens except what sounds like a pump running. No water comes in. When I manually turn the dial 1 click, the cycle starts. After a while, the cycle will stop, again with this pump that keeps running. Turning the dial manually 1 click will make the cycle continue. This happens about 10 times during a normal washing cycle.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem may be ?
