Hoover fridge freezer freezing in fridge section

when you have a look round the back, under the bottom shelf level, you will either see two black metal cans, each containing a motor and compressor, or one.

the drip evaporation dish will be on top of a compressor can, as it gets hot

It is a compressor the drip tray is on top ( only 1 )

I have had the back of the inside of the freezer off and NO ice at all .

I have had my hair dryer on but only a little bit of water has been coming out.
I will leave it for a bit longer but do not think much more water will come out into the drip tray .

If this does not work any more suggestions ?

Cheers

if it is a frost free, with only one compressor, there will be hidden channels inside, where cold air is fanned through. These tend to clog with frost and ice, and once they are blocked it takes a long time to melt them free, as they are not exposed. It usually takes some hours, and sometimes overnight. Luckily the weather is warm now which will help.

keep mopping it with kitchen roll until no more water drips appear anywhere

if your food is packed tightly in boxes, preferably double-wrapped with air space (I put bin bags over my boxes) it will stay frozen for hours
