Hoover wa110 performa washer dryer

I removed the washer thermostat to clean it but now not sure if I put the wires back correctly on the 4 terminals. I put the twin connector two on the inner spades (nearest the drum) and the single two on the outer two spades, farthest from the drum. Since doing this the programme no longer sticks between 4 and 5 but machine does not rotate the drum in wash mode?
Does anyone know which wires go where?
