Hi I have just replaced the drum bearings on my washer/dryer. after reassembling I'm having problems with the timer. it start the wash cycle, it agitates the drum fills correctly then stops. I have confirmed the heater is ok but the thermostat is closed cct on the upper two contacts and open cct on the lower two (nearest to the probe) when cold, then goes closed cct when hot. no 20Kohm - 50Kohm reading on either.
does anyone have any ideas and can anyone confirm the correct wiring of this thermostat. I have:-
lower pins: green/black and white from wiring loom

upper pins: white (link to heater element) and green from loom.

heater element: red from loom, green/yellow to earth and white from thermostat

many thanks oscar
