checked continuity on lock & wires....have continuity between 3 & 2 but none between 1 & 3 on lock.. continuity both OK on wires...ordered a new lock & fitted it but no joy... didn't test it before installation but tested it after...seems the same as the old one no continuity between 1 & 3... am I testing this wrong or has it shorted out the new lock?
