Hoover WDM 130

I have a Hoover Six express WDM 130,

the dryer was not heating so called an engineer who wanted my wife to buy a new machine. I took the lid off and found the spade connectors to the element had become disloged /removed. These were duly replaced and the dryer is heating fine however the laundry now comes out steaming. I understand this could be the condensor or filter. Is this likely and where will I find them?

More info, I have checked the flow of water from the valve and there seems to be a steady trickle from the hose leading from the valve to what I presume is the condensor. Is the filter at the Fan end??
