I have the cheapest laminate flooring imaginable and I'm getting gaps here and there and it is raising up in one or two places too. Is there any tape strong enough to hold it down in key places once I get it all aligned again. I don't want to move all the furniture only for it to happen again next week!
I just some wide, STRONG, matte-backed tape. Plain brown in colour, if possible or clear.

Sorry to say but buy cheap buy twice

I have a Dyson vacuum cleaner, an iPhone 5, a Sony Bravia TV and a disabled with with severe asthma. Suffice to say that if I could've afforded something which could last longer, I would have!! The difference in price to get something better to floor my home was going to be £6000.

£6000 more?
What did you pay for your laminate a m2?
You can get some good laminates for around £7-8 mark which will last and look good.
My point being is that alot of people but cheap laminate in the sale or from b&q at £3m2 and then wonder why it falls apart. I have fitted alot like that which I know once heating coming on it will move alot.
I wasn't having a go mate just pointing out cheap flooring never lasts.
Anyway duck tape will do the trick an is easy to take back off.

Money is stretched & I jumped the gun when you mentioned 'buying cheap.' I try to get stuff which lasts and what you said struck a nerve. But you didn't say anything wrong and I apologise. I guess I'm just a bit embarrassed that this has happened. It's not your fault. At this point, I'd just like to do a cosmetic job as the flooring isn't THAT bad. Can you think of anything brown? Basically exactly like postal tape only about 100000% stronger.

I can't think of one but goin in the local flooring stockist tomorrow so will see what they say.
Nice phone by the way :-)

It's probably more than I deserve but it helps her things done. I've only not used this forum with my iPhone once ever.
I'd really appreciate that if you could have a look. Don't go to more trouble than you can be bothered with, mind!
If there IS a floor specialist in the dark ages, AKA "Cornwall," then I'm not aware of it. So I don't have the option of going for a browse!! Lol.
