Have a Hoppe concealed fixing door handle that has come loose. Searched the web for a clue how to remove it but can't find anything. There are no visible screws or pins. Help please

It’s got a clip on cover

Get a screw driver in that slot

It will then come off

Any special technique because I have tried that to no avail ? Is it just clipped on to the plate and the handle and cover come off the backplate and bar in one piece

Put a little block of wood or something just below the handle then use it as a fulcrum point to lever up

And it helps to stop damaging the door face.

I could be wrong and you might need to undo the door lever, sometimes they are retained with an Allen key - but usually they are tied to the door handle with circlips and can’t be removed from outside

No pins / allen screws, that is what is perplexing me as all references to Hoppe handles have screws. I will give it another go when I am there again.

If that is the outside then there should be screws on the inside handle- which are actually bolts with a screw head that screw into the back of the one you are trying to take off

Nope, that is inside and no screws / fasteners or caps covering holes anywhere inside or out.

Its defo a press on cap hence cut out underneath, when prising off be not to take too much of a bite because you may actually be trying to prise of the backplate thats under the cover and not just the front, the lever handle should stay in place and the cover should slip over it

Not the exact same hoppe handle but it'll look something like this...

There is a tutorial covering most Hoppe concealed fixing handles and I advise watching it to assess where your handle type fits in. It's a tad complicated way of fitting/fixing handles, but you are stuck with what was fitted so be guided by the video.

Oh geez, there is yet another complicated handle set that makes me glad I'm no longer involved with door furniture
Why SO complicated when simple makes for an easy life

Sorted thanks all. It was all about technique, gently under the edge of the slot using another screwdriver handle as a fulcrum and the cover just flicked off.Messenger_creation_2F794C05-A85F-4C13-8A83-288E72C1EE05.jpg
