Hot Taps???

Hi Everyone,

I am looking into Hot taps at the min. There are a lot on the market (some at a ridiculous price). There are various things I would expect the tap to have/do... My question to everyone is what are the main things they look for in a hot tap? And what desirable things would they want the hot tap to do? Any thing from gadgetising the tap to well whatever. Also what price do you think is acceptable to pay?

I would expect my hot tap to give me nice hot water, not so fussy on price as long as looks and build quality are good, oh and the hot water is very hot!

No sorry not a marketeer... Just going into my final year at University and this is one of my potential projects. So was just after a bit of info on the subject to see if there was anything I could do better??

So any help would be great

I would want an instant flow of hottish water, initiated by an IR sensor, shutting off as soon as I remove my hand from under the spout.
