hot water cylinder may be too small :(.... advice needed pl

Blimey - for a moment I thought you were implying I had been and measured.

The benefits of the accumulator depend on what pipe work will be subsequent to it.

well just been reading on the GAH website on specs. and it says that it needs a minimum of 22m connection pipes. but the pipes will surely be "minimum" 28mm throughout.

It beggers belief , bathroom fittings and brassware that cost thousands of pounds to purchase/install are not a concern but the cost of installing the plant to maintain the water requirements are.

See this all the time.

Much like the chrysler 300c driver who covers the car in bentley badges.

FWIW , 600 litres of water heated to 65C from 10c (18 kw) would take around 2.25 hours (assuming 5% heat loss) , would cost an absolute fortune too.

one option not mentioned and no problem with reheat times. would be cascaded rinnai water heaters or via an unvented. dependent upon usage, not all units will kick in unless there's a high demand. if set up correctly using there controls, also temp controlled and option of external units. thing is these units would probably require someone with a commercial ticket. and a possible gas meter upgrade. excellent units though.
