i got called to a job yesterday where the cylinder was leaking from underneath, it was a tribune II, have looked on internet but cannot find anything about them at all, its like they never existed, it is ran off mains pressure, no expansion vessel or pressure reducing valve, the lady has asked me to replace it with a new one and i am wondering if there are any recommendations as to which cylinder would be appropriate? i was thinking the 170l itre oso indirect cylinder.

it is a 3/4 bed semi with bathroom and en-suite with possible extra shower in bathroom.

any help gratefully recieved, btw please be gentle lol i am a newly qualified level 2 plumber and have little expierience with cylinders 'y' plans/ 's' plans etc

Firstly have you an un-vented certificate? If not you should not be taking on this job  I would recommend a megaflo 170litre if you are.

any way of doing it without it being unvented?
didnt realise i needed certificate for it as have fitted hundreds previously

Unfortunatley not. All un-vented cylinders are covered by the building regs G3 and as such must be fitted by a competent person. All unvented cylinders must also be notified to local building control to comply with above reg, past and present. I should stop before you come a cropper ;)

if its an indirect type consider installing an Albion Mainsflow, these work from the mains supply and are exempt from the G3 regulations
