Hi

I had a new kitchen tap fitted on Friday and since then my bathroom taps and shower makes a loud noise when turning on and off ( no issues with hot water itself) The plumber had forgot to turn the water back on to the washing machine so I did this myself by turning the valve. The main water stopcock valve also looks like it’s sitting in a slightly different position to before but I can’t be sure on this. Would adjusting either of these valves likely to help with the issue or does it sound like something else?

Maybe the stopcock is not fully on - water may cause a hissing sound as it forces it's way past a narrower opening.
