Hot water only heats radiators as well

Since it started getting a bit warmer and we haven't had the heating on, we have noticed that if we put the hot water on only, it also heats up the radiators. What is wrong with it?

In addition, could this be the reason for the excessive air we get in the system - see my previous post.

Depends what your heating system IS!

An Ideal Classic non-pressurised one.

It all depends on your system and how its controlled.

The most common system would use a three port motor valve which would appear to have failed to operate correctly.

Assuming that to be the case could that be putting air into the system, or is that still likely to be something else?
