Hot water overheating on Potterton Suprima

Just before Christmas we noticed that the hot water was coming out of the tap really hot. I turned down the thermostat on the tank, but it made no difference. I then turned off the hot water altogether at the boiler, but it still comes out hot. Anyone with any ideas? and what other info should I provide?

3 port valve is poss passing when the heatings on.

or you have an immersion switched on aswell.
