just done a wash and now the water wont pump out
any ideas please on what i can do about it myself?
assume the pump has packed up

grey outlet hose, put it in a bucket / bowl on the floor. water comes out under gravity. if it doesnt filter is blocked and pump is ok

I managed to get it to spin and got all the water out of it
I have just filled it full of water and its not draining again
think possibly the pump is faulty

Pump could just be blocked (junk stopping the impellor turning)

Can you hear the pump running when you switch the appliance to spin

If you can the sump/waste hose could be blocked

you are normally better off checking it all out anyway

machine is working again now
it was a hair band that was blocking it
inside the pump
can do the washing again tommorrow

My Aquarius 1000 won't drain. I lowered the waste hose into a bucket as suggested and it drained. So, it's the pump. Can anyone provide a link to a service manual or user guide so that I can have a go at unblocking the pump. I've never done it before and need instructions.

No service manual will tell you , just follow the grey pipe to the end that's the pump.

So, I just unhook the pipe and poke around in that thing at the end??? Too scared I'll do more damage.

That link is for a dishwasher I take you have washer , no manual will tell you how to unblock it. You need to follow the other end to the pump not the hook end.

Thanks but I've given up. Unscrewed the back but drain hose is attached to the pump by a spring clip that I just can't undo. Have had to call a plumber out. (
