Hotpoint Aquarius WF250 - Banging when Spinning

Hi all,
We have a Hotpoint Aquarius WF250 1500 Spin Washer.

Recently when it is on a Spin there is an almighty banging noise whilst it is spinning. If you run the machine with nothing in it does not bang.

Could this be the bearings or is it something else?

If it is the bearings, how much do they cost and is it an easy job to do?

Yes it could be bearings but also check first for loose concrete counterbalance or broken damper arms.If it is the bearings unfortunately it is one of the more bigger repairs in time and cost
