Hotpoint Cooker HUE61K Terminal Board Connection at rear of

Anybody come across connecting this model or similar cooker, particularly with regard to cable connections onto the cooker. The only instructions from hotpoint are a stuck on label at rear (see photo), with no other instructions. After studying the diagram, where the L/N cables are shown in the pic there is a hidden small square hole where the cables appear to go, after inserting the cable and tightening up the nuts it appears after a pull test to rigidly hold the cable's in place.

After searching the net without success, I found that some Indesit cookers have the same type of connection, indicating that the nuts(screws) can be removed, but this seems inpossible with the Hotpoint.

I should mention that the cooker is working fine, but need clarification from anyone who has met this scenario.

If you have loosened the nut far enough to insert the cable to left hand side of the nut, made off the cable end so no bare conductor can be seen when nut is tightened up and good contact is made with conductor and terminal points.
You should not have problem, these type of terminals are very common.
 
Thanks for info, just found it strange that you insert a cable, but don't really see how it makes a contact.
