Hi, dishwasher stops after a few seconds, I turn off water inlet tap undo pipe, put back pipe and open tap and it re-starts and works fine, could you please help?? many thanks
More often it is caused by a blockage in the sump to metering tank hose (black hose or poss grey about an inch diameter).
This causes the water from the side tank to overfill as most of the clean water enters the tank through this hose.
undo the left side panel as you look from the front. the plastic strip on the front edge will unclip using a flat blade screwdriver to reveel two screws.
The machine should fill 3 times before the circ pump kicks in.
Take a look around the centre bottom part of the metering tank at the float switch, this chamber can be slugged up.
The hose concerned is attached to this chamber is about 12inches long and can be accesed from under the machine.
Also check it is pumping out and the sump base is clear of bones, sweetcorn ect.
sorry a bit hard putting into words hope this helps.
