Hi, hope someone can help. We have a Hotpoint LTF11M132C dishwasher that starts ok on all programs. When we check it has stopped with water in the base. Just opening and closing the door starts it again and it completes the cycle (may have to to more than once on a longer program). I have cleaned the filter

Have you cleaned the sump, grease in there can jam the anti flood float which in some machines can be reset by pulling machine forward and tilting to around 45 degrees .
Easy way is to put a pint of boiling soapy water in , leave a few minutes and pump out then repeat 3 or 4 times .
