Hi

Have just reconnected our Hotpoint DWF50 after non usage for a few months and as soon as we start a cycle, machine makes a slight humming noise, then ECO light flashes.

Opened the door and found that the fliter base was dry as a bone..put some water into that and retried, then after a few minutes, water started coming out of base of machine.

Never had any problems before with it, although it's just over 3 years old, light usage

Any advice please :?

Pump is jammed, thats what you can hear humming.
You may be lucky & relaese it with a small scwewdriver.
Remove the filters & have a fiddle otherwise you need to remove the pump, easy job, I seem to have to do it twice a year
