Mother in Law has a Hotpoint EW 74 Electric Cooker/Oven.
When the Oven is on and you open the oven door it trips the RCD.
We have had someone out to look at it who changed the thermostat switch, and that seemed to work for a while but it is now doing it again.
If you first isolate the cooker at the cooker switch, open the door, close the door and then switch on at the cooker switch it is fine, it seems to be tripped by the door opening and I assume some form of circuit/micro switch integrated into the door.
Any ideas before we spend another £100 on a shot in the dark repair attempt.
Thanks
